Special Olympics

Mission: The mission of Special Olympics Rhode Island is to provide year-round sports training and competition on in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.

Juniors Unified Soccer Beginning of September -> beginning of October
Juniors Unified Basketball Beginning of January -> end of February
Unified Bowling End of February -> beginning of April
Swimming Beginning of March -> beginning of June
Track and Field Middle of March -> beginning of June
Juniors Unified Softball Middle of June -> middle of August

Ages 13+
