To Complete Online Membership Registration:
Please make sure to follow all guidelines, and to stop by the main office for a membership card after you have completed the registration.
Please note: For an ongoing membership fee, the payment will automatically be deducted from your selected account (pro-rated the first month to the day you register and the first of each month moving forward). For short-term memberships, the full payment is due at the time of registration and will cancel automatically. Short-term memberships will not receive priority pricing and early registration dates for programs.
Please read through the following steps carefully.
- Complete online registration form.
- Enter all billing information for the monthly draft.
- Go to the membership office to pick up membership card.
- All returned payments will be subject to a $30 fee.
- Beginning January 1, 2026, a 3% processing fee will be added to all credit card transactions. This fee goes directly toward covering fees from the credit card companies FISERV and DAXKO — and helps us keep more of your membership and program dollars focused on what really matters: serving our community. To help avoid our credit card processing fee, please consider using the following; Bank draft/ACH (automatic payment from your checking or savings account) *preferred method, or, Debit Card. If you’d like to update your payment method or have any questions, please stop by the Welcome Center or contact us at (401) 847-9200 or welcomecenter@newportymca.org.
For all financial assistance memberships, you must go into the main office to start memberships, with your letter sent from the Newport County YMCA.

Optum’s Renew Active/One Pass Members – Must be part of this Medicare program partnering with United and other medicare options. Contact Newport County YMCA and your healthcare provider for more information.
Cancellation Policy

Please note that cancellations must be processed 7 days in advance to the end of the month to be valid prior to the next charge.
