The Y is making a difference in the lives of your community.
A vibrant Y that makes a significant impact in the community each and every day is a gift we have received from prior generations. Many friends of the Y choose to support the Y’s mission beyond their own lifetimes by gifting assets to the Y’s permanent endowment fund. Donors may designate their support to an impact area of choice or allow the Newport County YMCA to determine where support is needed most. Individuals who have made a meaningful gift to the YMCA endowment fund are recognized for their generosity with membership in the Heritage Club. Community Services
We know that the Newport area, and its community needs, look very different than where it was over a year ago. At the Y, we have redesigned programs to help strengthen our community. Through community resource guides, food distribution, community-based opportunity centers and more, we are able to help bridge the gaps within our area.
YMCA International Services provides client-centered services to refugees, survivors of human trafficking, asylees, and other vulnerable newcomers from around the world. Services include financial assistance, immigration legal services, post-release services, case management, employment education, and more.
