2018 Pie Run Race Results

The Newport County YMCA will host the 33rd Annual Pie Run on Thanksgiving Day Thursday, November 22, 2018. The race, originally founded by the Newport Running Club, collects donations for the MLK Center as well as raising money for local charities in Newport County. With over 1,500 walkers and runners, a supportive team of volunteers, and community partners, this event is not to be missed!  What better way to prepare for a day full of food than a fun run around the Y while supporting local charities

The Thanksgiving Day tradition starts promptly at 8:30AM. The 5-mile USATF sanctioned road race, and 3-mile non-competitive walk/jog, starts and ends in front of the Newport County YMCA at 792 Valley Road, Middletown. 

Entrants are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to be contributed to a local food bank. 

Proceeds support the Y’s Community Support Campaign and local charities.

Please be aware, you must register for the 2018 Pie Run by October 31st, 2018 to be guaranteed a t-shirt.
