Help us change lives.
For Community. For Generations.
Since 1878, the Newport County YMCA has served generations of families, providing access to the resources they need to be healthy, confident, connected, and secure.
But today we have an opportunity to do more. And we look to you for support.
To ensure our Y is serving today’s generation with an eye to the next, we need purposefully designed spaces to offer the types of programs and services children and adults need. Our facility is a tool that helps us deliver on our mission. With limited space, an aging infrastructure, and barriers to access, we know we must do more.
We’re reaching out to the community to support our Capital Campaign to help us positively impact future generations and the more than 10,000 people we serve each year.
You can help make this happen.

- New family/universal locker rooms
- A state-of-the-art Squash Complex
- A new Youth Development Center with enhanced Child Watch and licensed afterschool care for more than 80 children
- Reconfigured parking to provide an additional 100 spaces to improve drop off/pick up
Overall, the new Y will reflect a redesigned facility that focuses on safety, accessibility, efficiency, and flexible program spaces – allowing the Y to adapt to ever-changing health needs and guidelines.
